THE MUSIC OF JEAN CLAUDE MADHERO
The writer and director always wanted a latin inspired sound for his film, music that is emotionally charged and melodramatic to bring to life our inanimate socks' love story. Having lost a Bafta winning composer from the project at the last minute, he one day walked pass the unique voice of Jean Claude Madhero, playing on the London Underground. He knew instantly he was the musician that would serenade his film.
Originally from Martinique, and singing in his French Creole language, Jean Claude Madhero performs his original tracks 'Moun Tou Paout', 'A Go Go' and 'Cour Blesse' in the film. Here's a sneak peak of us recording for the film.
